Breyen A. Coffin, MD, is an interventional radiologist providing care at Boston Medical Center (BMC) in Boston’s South End neighborhood as well as at BMC Brighton and BMC South in Brockton. He is an Assistant Professor of Radiology at the Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine.

Dr. Coffin earned his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, New York, and completed his residency training in diagnostic and interventional radiology at Boston Medical Center.

Dr. Coffin specializes in minimally invasive image-guided procedures, with clinical interests in hepatobiliary interventions, vascular access, vascular disease, embolotherapy, oncologic interventions, and contrast-enhanced ultrasound.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Coffin is deeply engaged in medical education and health policy. He has held numerous leadership roles in organized medicine, including within the American Medical Association, for which he has contributed to national policy on resident and fellow advocacy, education, and healthcare access.
