About
Brian M. Cervoni Rosario, MD, is a board-certified nonoperative sports medicine physician at Boston Medical Center – Brighton (BMC Brighton).
Dr. Cervoni Rosario earned his medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine in San Juan, and completed an internal medicine internship at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, after which he served in the United States Navy as a primary care physician. He then completed his Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency training at the University of Washington in Seattle, during which he served as Chief Resident during his final year. He additionally completed a fellowship in primary care sports medicine at the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab in Chicago, Illinois, in conjunction with the Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (FAAPMR).
Dr. Cervoni-Rosario has a clinical interest in all aspects of nonoperative sports medicine, including spine, shoulder, elbow, wrist, hip, knee, and ankle injuries. He works closely with patients and their healthcare team to develop strategies to help them return to participating in their respective sports and/or activities in a safe and expeditious manner while preventing further injury. He has particular expertise in ultrasound-guided interventions and regenerative/orthobiologics medicine.
Outside of work, Dr. Cervoni Rosario enjoys spending his time with his family, lifting weights, and road cycling.
