Dana R. Semmel, MD, is a board-certified anatomic and clinical pathologist at Boston Medical Center (BMC), BMC Brighton, and BMC South in Brockton, Massachusetts; and Chief of Pathology at the Lemuel Shattuck Hospital in Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts. After receiving her medical degree at the University of Miami, Dr. Semmel completed pathology residencies at BMC. She subsequently completed two fellowships: in gynecologic and perinatal pathology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and in cytopathology, at BMC.
