Jeffrey A. Kalish, MD, is Director of Endovascular Surgery and Associate Chief Medical Information Officer at Boston Medical Center. Dr. Kalish is also an Associate Professor of Vascular and Interventional Radiology at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. He has extensive expertise in complex amputation and limb salvage surgery, totally percutaneous endovascular aortic aneurysm repair, carotid artery surgery and stenting, diabetic lower extremity management, and complex dialysis access. He is widely recognized for his clinical research in vascular surgery, which has significantly improved the quality and effectiveness of ultrasound-guided access during peripheral vascular intervention. Dr. Kalish has received several awards and honors, including the Society for Vascular Surgery’s E.J. Wylie Traveling Fellowship for his leadership in improving multidisciplinary care for amputees, based on lessons learned from the Boston Marathon bombing.
