About
Dr. McCabe is the Vice Chair of Education, Department of Emergency Medicine at Boston Medical Center Health System (BMCHS), and an Assistant Professor at the Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. In addition to clinical emergency medicine, Dr. McCabe is interested in diversity, equity, and inclusion; faculty, fellow, and resident development; the impact of emotions on medical education; and organizational culture and leadership. She is a BMCHS Health Equity Champion and is committed to promoting diversity and inclusion in the health care workforce, including work/life integration and authenticity. She is an integral part of resident and medical student education, a leader in curriculum development, a driving force behind multiple educational innovations at BMCHS, and a mentor for numerous medical students, residents, and junior faculty. She is a proud mother of three children and two dogs.
