Peter J. Lydon, MD, FACS, is a board-certified general surgeon and a pioneer in minimally invasive (laparoscopic) surgery at Boston Medical Center – South (BMC South) in Brockton, Massachusetts. He also practices at BMC Brighton (formerly St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center) in the Brighton neighborhood of Boston. Dr. Lydon earned his medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine. He completed his surgery residency at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Brighton, followed by a surgery fellowship at New England Medical Center through Tufts University School of Medicine. Dr. Lydon has been in clinical practice for over 30 years, serving patients in the Norwood and Brockton areas of Massachusetts.
