Philip A. Cohen, MD, FACS, FASMBS, is a board-certified general surgeon specializing in bariatric and minimally invasive surgery at Boston Medical Center – South (BMC South).
Dr. Cohen earned his medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine and completed his general surgery residency training at Boston University Medical Center. He subsequently completed a fellowship in bariatric and minimally invasive surgery through the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and Fellow of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (FASMBS).
