Samuel R. Gorelik, DPM, is a board-certified podiatrist and foot surgeon at Boston Medical Center – South (BMC South) in Brockton, Massachusetts. He also practices at Aronson Footcare in Canton, Massachusetts.

Dr. Gorelik holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Chemistry from Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts. He earned his doctorate in podiatric medicine (DPM) from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and completed his podiatric medicine and surgery residency training at Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester, Massachusetts.

Dr. Gorelik is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgery (FACFAS) and a member of the American Association for Podiatric Practice Management and of the Legislative Committee of the American Podiatric Medical Association. He serves on the Board of Trustees of the Massachusetts Foot and Ankle Society and previously served as its Vice President.

Dr. Gorelik’s clinical interests include wound care and staying up-to-date on rapidly evolving modalities such as percutaneous surgeries and arthroscopy. Generally speaking, he sees the value in considering noninvasive treatments such as orthotics, laser therapy, or shockwave therapy before moving to surgical intervention.

A native of Massachusetts who grew up in Dedham and Sharon, Dr. Gorelik has always been interested in staying active outdoors-skiing, hiking, and swimming. He speaks Russian and understands it well.
