Virginia R. Litle, MD, is a board-certified cardiothoracic surgeon at Boston Medical Center – Brighton (BMC Brighton), where she serves as Chief of Thoracic Surgery. She is also a Professor of Surgery (Cardiothoracic Surgery) at the Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine.
Dr. Litle earned her medical degree from Brown University School of Medicine in Providence, Rhode Island, and completed her general surgery residency training at UCSF School of Medicine in San Francisco, California. She subsequently completed a fellowship in cardiothoracic surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
