About

Dr. Joseph Young is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee replacement. His expertise includes direct anterior total hip replacement, minimally invasive total and partial knee replacement, revision joint replacement, robotic-assisted surgery, and fracture care.

A Massachusetts native, Dr. Young earned his undergraduate degree from Yale University, where he was an all-conference football player, before receiving his medical degree from the University of Massachusetts. He completed orthopedic residency at Albany Medical Center and fellowship training in adult reconstruction at Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Young is an active researcher and member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons.

Dr. Young is committed to helping patients regain mobility, relieve pain, and return to the activities they enjoy.
