About
Dr. Khansa Ahmad completed her internal medicine residency at the University of Illinois, Advocate Christ Medical Center. She then pursued a two-year preventive and imaging cardiovascular fellowship, general cardiovascular and interventional cardiology fellowships at Brown University. She then completed her Structural and Endovascular fellowship at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center. Throughout her years of training, she has authored numerous publications on health disparities and clinical outcomes and contributed to book chapters. She serves on the editorial boards of three medical journals and regularly reviews manuscripts for over a dozen others. She is passionate about medical education, remaining involved in mentoring medical students, residents, cardiology fellows, and advanced practitioners.
As a Structural and Endovascular Interventional cardiologist at BMC Brighton, Dr. Ahmad will be taking care of cardiovascular patients, serving the range of interventional needs. She will be actively involved in the education and mentoring for the cardiology
and interventional cardiology fellows as well as the internal medicine residents.
