Nathan C. Cardoos, MD, CAQSM, RMSK, is a board-certified primary care/family medicine and sports medicine physician at the Ryan Center for Sports Medicine at Boston University, where he serves as Medical Director, and at the Boston Sports Institute in Wellesley, Massachusetts. He is also an Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at the Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine, where he directs the Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship.

Dr. Cardoos is also the head team physician at Boston University. He has special interests in diagnostic and therapeutic sports ultrasound and concussion.

Dr. Cardoos earned his medical degree from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, and completed his residency in family medicine through the Tufts University program based at Cambridge Health Alliance in Malden, Massachusetts. He continued his training by completing a fellowship in primary care sports medicine at UMass Chan Medical School in Worcester.

Dr. Cardoos is board-certified in family and sports medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine and holds a Certificate of Added Qualification in Sports Medicine (CAQSM). He is Registered in Musculoskeletal Sonography by the Alliance for Physician Certification & Advancement (RMSK). He is a member of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine and serves on the education and fellowship committees.
