Waqar A. Cheema, MBBS (MD), FACC, MPhil is a highly experienced cardiologist who focuses on the prevention, diagnosis, and management of cardiovascular disease, with a particular emphasis on congestive heart failure and comprehensive cardiac care. Dr. Cheema brings decades of leadership and clinical experience to Boston Medical Center – Brighton and Boston Medical Center – South, where he has also served in senior roles across the health system. He previously served as Chief of the Division of Cardiology at Norwood Hospital and as President of the Medical Staff, contributing to program development, clinical excellence, and physician leadership.
