Alireza Vaziri, MD, FSVM, is a board-certified vascular medicine physician (angiologist) at Boston Medical Center – Brighton (BMC Brighton), where he directs the Bernard D. Kosowsky, MD Cardiovascular Rehabilitation Center as well as the hospital’s Division of Noninvasive Vascular Medicine and Noninvasive Vascular Laboratory and its Vascular Medicine Fellowship Program. He also practices at Boston Medical Center – South (BMC South) in Brockton, Massachusetts.
Dr. Vaziri earned his medical degree from the Tehran University of Medical Sciences in Iran and completed an internship year followed by his internal medicine residency at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Massachusetts, through Tufts University School of Medicine. He subsequently completed a fellowship in vascular medicine at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. He is a Fellow of the Society for Vascular Medicine (FSVM).
