BMC Brighton’s Department of Addiction Medicine provides inpatient and outpatient treatment for individuals with substance use disorders (SUD), including opioid, alcohol, and benzodiazepine use. We also support families and work closely with specialists across departments to address co-occurring conditions.

We provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient treatment for substance use disorders, including:
- Inpatient detox
- Support groups
- Buprenorphine/naloxone (Suboxone)
- Oral and injectable naltrexone (Vivitrol)
- Disulfiram (Antabuse)
- Acamprosate (Campral)
- Referrals to other services, such as halfway houses and community programs
- Intensive outpatient psycho-social support
