Insurance and Reimbusement

Most health insurance carriers will reimburse Boston Medical Center - Brighton directly for your hospitalization. If you have commercial insurance, you will need to forward a signed insurance release form authorizing the release of information and authorization for benefits to the hospital prior to your discharge. For specially arranged HMOs or case management insurance, we may not need those forms.

Prior to or at the time of service, any known patient responsible charges will be due, e.g. co-pays, deductibles, and co-insurance.
