Patient Information

In addition to providing general women’s health services, we treat conditions such as:

  • Cancer
  • Conditions relating to the female reproductive organs
  • Interstitial cystitis (painful bladder syndrome)
  • Pelvic pain
  • Pregnancy-related orthopedic conditions
  • Postsurgical conditions such as pelvic organ prolapse, rectocele, and cystocele
  • Proctalgia (muscle spasm of the rectal area)
  • Pudendal neuralgia (inflammation of the pudendal nerve)
  • Urinary incontinence, urgency, and frequency
  • Venereal disease
  • Vulvodynia (vulvar pain)

Gynecology services include:

  • Routine and preventive reproductive health check-ups for girls and women of all ages
  • Counseling, diagnostic evaluations, and services related to fertility, family-planning, and pregnancy
  • Regular and acute care for mothers and newborns
  • Diagnosis and treatment of cancer, venereal disease, and other conditions relating to the female reproductive organs
  • Advanced gynecologic surgery, including minimally invasive and robotic-assisted surgery, for treatment of conditions including endometriosis, fibroids, benign gynecological conditions, and more

We offer birthing classes, lactation support, and social supports such as help getting access to local resources. Additionally:

Birth Certificates

Your baby’s birth certificate is a legal document that makes the birth a permanent record in Commonwealth of Massachusetts vital records. Birth certificates should be completed before the birthing parent and baby are discharged, as the hospital is required to record a birth at Town Hall within ten days.
