David A. Sipala, DPM, FACFAS
Program Director
David A. Sipala, DPM, FACFAS, is a board-certified foot and ankle surgeon at BMC Brighton, where he serves as Program Director for the Podiatry Residency. He is deeply committed to advancing minimally invasive foot and ankle surgery, and has expertise in complex forefoot and rearfoot reconstruction, limb salvage, and trauma surgery.
In addition, Dr. Sipala serves as the incoming President of the Massachusetts Foot & Ankle Society, spearheading initiatives in statewide physician engagement, advocacy, education, and professional development. His work includes championing legislative support for the podiatric profession, serving as the Scientific Co-Chair of the APMA Region One Conference, and creating opportunities for residents to participate in research, conferences, and community outreach. He also serves as a surgical consultant for Stryker Orthopedics, collaborating on product development, surgical technique refinement, and national educational initiatives.
