Lindsay M. Arnold, PharmD, MPH, FCCP, BCPS
Director of Pharmacy & Clinical Nutrition Services

Lindsay M. Arnold, PharmD, MPH, FCCP, BCPS, is the Director of Pharmacy & Clinical Nutrition Services at Boston Medical Center – Brighton (BMC Brighton) in Boston, Massachusetts. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. She completed her Pharmacy Practice Residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and followed with a PGY-2 residency in Adult Internal Medicine with an emphasis in Cardiology at Virginia Commonwealth University. Prior to this position, Dr. Arnold served as a clinical specialist in internal medicine, cardiology, and anticoagulation.

Dr. Arnold’s research and quality improvement interests include the impact of patient education on hospital readmission, specifically in heart failure and myocardial infarction; venous thromboembolism prevention, and management and transitions of care. She serves a reviewer for Pharmacotherapy, Annals of Pharmacotherapy, Endocrine Practice, and Cardiovascular Therapeutics.

Currently Dr. Arnold serves as an active preceptor for the PGY-1 and PGY-2 administration rotations.

Edward Chao, PharmD
Clinical Pharmacist

Dr. Chao attended Ohio Northern University and received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2023. He completed his PGY-1 residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Presbyterian in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. During his free time, Dr. Chao enjoys trying out new restaurants and playing team sports.

Salwa Elarabi, RPh, BCPS-AQ Infectious Diseases
PGY-2 (ID) Pharmacy Residency Program Director
Clinical Pharmacy Specialist—Infectious Disease

Dr. Elarabi received her Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. She is a board-certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist with added Qualifications in Infectious Diseases (BCPS-AQ). She works at BMC Brighton as a clinical pharmacy specialist in infectious diseases.

Dr. Elarabi offers PGY-1 rotations in Antimicrobial Stewardship and Advanced Infectious Disease as well as PGY-2 rotations in Antimicrobial Stewardship; Infectious Disease Consult I–III, including HIV/Hepatitis; and teaching. Her personal interests include traveling, reading, music, theater, history, and web design.

Adah K. Lau, PharmD
Clinical Pharmacist

Dr. Lau received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Boston, Massachusetts. She completed her Pharmacy Practice residency at Tufts Medical Center (formerly Tufts–New England Medical Center), also in Boston. Dr. Lau is currently a clinical pharmacist at BMC Brighton and serves as one of the preceptors for the Internal Medicine I & II rotation for the PGY-1 program.

Jiaqi (Angela) Li, PharmD
Clinical Pharmacist

Dr. Li received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. She completed her PGY-1 residency at MaineGeneral Medical Center in Augusta, Maine. Her practice interests are in psychiatry and addiction medicine. In her free time, Dr. Li enjoys exploring different restaurants and spending time with family and friends.

Mirembe Reed, PharmD, BCPS, BCCP, BCCCP
Clinical Pharmacy Specialist—Cardiology

Dr. Reed graduated with her PharmD from Northeastern University in Boston and completed a PGY-1 residency at Christiana Care Health System in Newark, Delaware, followed by a PGY-2 in Medicine with emphasis in Cardiology at West Virginia University Hospital. She works at BMC Brighton as a clinical pharmacy specialist in cardiology and serves as a preceptor for the Cardiac ICU rotation. Dr. Reed loves to dance, make new connections, and spend time with loved ones.

Diala Nicolas, PharmD, BCPS
Clinical Pharmacy Manager
PGY-1 Residency Program Director

Dr. Nicolas received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. She completed her PGY-1 Residency at BMC Brighton (formerly St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center). Prior to this position, Dr. Nicolas served as a clinical pharmacist in internal medicine, with practice interests in cardiology, and as a clinical consultant pharmacist in managed care. She enjoys exercising, baking and traveling.

Thao Pham, PharmD, BCCCP
Clinical Pharmacy Specialist—Critical Care

Dr. Pham received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Northeastern University Bouvé College of Health Sciences in Boston, Massachusetts. She is currently a clinical pharmacy specialist in the medical ICU and serves as the preceptor for the medical ICU rotation. She has practice interests in emergency medicine and critical care. In her free time, Dr. Pham loves hiking with her friends (and dogs are a must!), eating her favorite foods, and reading.
