Compassionate and Community-Centered

Boston Medical Center – South is dedicated to improving the overall health and wellbeing of our community members here in Brockton and along the Route 24 corridor.

We provide culturally and linguistically appropriate support, focusing on care that addresses the root causes of chronic diseases directly impacting our communities, including heart disease, obesity, diabetes, cancer, and substance use disorder.

BMC South is deeply involved in community outreach, participating in city and neighborhood events to hear from residents and providing education on prevention, self-care, and condition management.

Expanding Access to Acute Care

BMC South delivers expert, patient-centered care directly in the community when it is needed most. In a medical situation where every second counts, we deliver expert emergency care closer to home in our Emergency Department, the only designated Level III Trauma Center in the region, open 24/7.
